FEATURE HISTORY
A little better,
with every update.
What’s in Someday today, and what we’re working on next.
1.1 · More of your reading,
in one place.
Bring saved articles, bookmarks, newsletters and documents into your iPhone library. Read at your own pace, or prepare narration on your device and listen offline.
Read along.
Follow each word as the narration plays. Read, listen, or move between the two.
17 voices. Hear them first.
Preview American and British narrators before choosing a voice for new recordings.
Your bookmarks, brought together.
Import selected Raindrop collections and saves from the free Save to Someday Chrome extension, using your own iCloud or Google Drive account.
Books and documents, too.
Import DRM-free EPUB books and unencrypted Word documents alongside PDFs. Use EPUB Contents and PDF page controls to find your place.
A clearer place to add reading.
Find bookmarks and links together, followed by newsletters and documents. Share from Safari or paste an article link.
Preparation at a glance.
See audio preparation progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on supported iPhones.
Saved reading and generated audio stay in your local iPhone library. Bookmark import copies saves into Someday; it does not sync your whole library between devices. Gmail is optional and its availability may be restricted while Google verification is pending.
1.2 · Easier to pick up.
Better to come back to.
The next planned update focuses on finding your next read and making everyday saving, reading and listening more dependable.
A quick way into an article.
Make a short set of swipeable Quick read cards from saved text, then open the original article. Runs on-device with Apple Intelligence on supported iPhones.
A more focused Home.
Clearer controls for continuing a read or starting playback, with a quieter layout and library-capacity guidance when it’s needed.
Care for your growing library.
Reworked local storage and upgrade safeguards for existing articles, reading positions and recordings, with clearer handling when a save or cleanup cannot finish.
A pause when your iPhone needs it.
Audio preparation waits when iOS reports serious thermal pressure, then continues as the phone cools. Completed audio remains available to play.
More dependable document imports.
Safer handling of large or invalid EPUB and Word files, improved document-access cleanup, and fixes around interrupted preparation and reader recovery.
A direct line for feedback.
Send feedback from Home or Settings through a simple form. Only the email and message you enter are shared; no app logs or library content are attached.
These features are planned for 1.2 and are not part of the current App Store release. Work is being evaluated in internal TestFlight build 1.1.1 (13); that beta number is separate from the planned public release. Quick reads needs iOS 27 or later, an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone and its on-device model ready. Supported-iPhone generation is still being evaluated. Features and timing may change.
